Mr. Sullivan has served as Insulet's Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board since October 2016. Previously, he served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director since September 2014. Prior to joining Insulet, Mr. Sullivan spent five years at Constitution Medical Investors as the Chairman and CEO. Mr. Sullivan served as Executive Chairman of Hologic from its merger with Cytyc Corporation in October 2007 until May 2008, having previously served Cytyc as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. Previously, Mr. Sullivan was employed in marketing roles of increasing responsibility at Abbott Laboratories, a diversified healthcare company, and as a consultant with McKinsey & Company, an international consulting firm. Mr. Sullivan serves as a director of PerkinElmer, Inc., a global leader focused on improving the health and safety of people and the environment. Mr. Sullivan holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with Distinction, from the United States Naval Academy and an M.B.A., with Distinction, from Harvard Business School.

Image of Aiman Abdel-Malek Ph.D.

Dr. Aiman Abdel-Malek has served as Insulet’s Senior Vice President of Advanced Technology and Engineering since March 2016. Prior to joining Insulet, he served as President of Frictionless Life Analytics, a business development and technology advisory and consultancy company, enabling the growth of start-up ventures focused on Internet of Things (IoT) platforms and solutions. Dr. Abdel-Malek served as Vice President of Engineering of the Mobile Healthcare division of Qualcomm from 2012 to 2015, where he led a group in creating cloud-based solutions for disease management that facilitate moving care from hospital to home. Previously, he spent 25 years at General Electric, serving in various roles of increasing responsibility including General Manager of Global Services Technology for General Electric Healthcare Services. Dr. Abdel-Malek holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles and a B.Sc. in Systems and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Cairo in Egypt.

Image of Charles Alpuche

Charles Alpuche has served as Insulet’s Executive Vice President of Global Manufacturing and Operations since February 2016. For four years prior to joining Insulet, Mr. Alpuche served as an independent consultant for both domestic and international companies in the food, beverage and chemical industries. Previously, Mr. Alpuche spent thirty years at PepsiCo in leadership roles of increasing responsibility overseeing domestic and international plant operations and earlier in his career at PepsiCo he held a number of management roles in plant operations, product management and quality control. Most recently, he served as PepsiCo’s Senior Vice President of North America Beverages and before that he held the position of Vice President and General Manager Concentrate Operations, Asia and Americas. Mr. Alpuche holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Delaware Valley College. Mr. Alpuche also serves as a Trustee for Delaware Valley University.

David Colleran has served as Insulet’s Senior Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel since July 2015. Mr. Colleran is a senior legal executive with over 17 years of experience in the medical device and consumer products industries. Mr. Colleran most recently served as Vice President and General Counsel for the Medical Supplies Sector of Covidien. From 2003 to 2006, he served as Corporate Counsel for Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. and from 1998 to 2002 he was Corporate Associate, Business and Technology Group, at Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP. Mr. Colleran earned his J.D. at Boston College Law School and his B.A. in Political Science at Boston College.

Ms. Gordon has served as Insulet’s Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications since January 2015. Prior to joining Insulet, Ms. Gordon served in a number of roles of increasing responsibility during her 10 years at Hologic, Inc. and Cytyc Corporation (which merged with Hologic in October 2007), notably seven years as Hologic’s Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications and prior as Assistant Corporate Controller and Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting at Cytyc. Prior to joining Cytyc, Ms. Gordon served in the audit practice at Deloitte & Touch for 11 years. Ms. Gordon earned her B.A. in Business Administration, with concentrations in Accounting and Economics, from Clark University and is a certified public accountant.

Mr. Levitz has served as Insulet’s Chief Financial Officer since May 2015. For six years prior to joining Insulet, he was the Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Analogic Corporation, a global provider of medical guidance, diagnostic imaging and threat detection equipment. Previously during his seven years with Hologic, Inc. and Cytyc Corporation (which merged with Hologic in October 2007), Mr. Levitz served in various capacities including Vice President and Corporate Controller. Mr. Levitz began his career in the high technology audit practice at Arthur Andersen. Mr. Levitz earned his B.A. in Business Economics, with emphasis in Accounting, from the University of California Santa Barbara and is a certified public accountant. In 2011, he was a finalist for the Boston Business Journal’s Chief Financial Officer of the Year award.

Image of Dr. Trang Ly

Dr. Trang Ly has served as Insulet’s Vice President and Medical Director since September 2016. Dr. Ly is a renowned expert in artificial pancreas and diabetes technologies. Most recently, she served as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology, Stanford University School of Medicine. Prior to her time at Stanford, Dr. Ly was a Pediatric Endocrinologist in the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children in Perth, Australia. Dr. Ly holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, a Diploma of Child Health and a PhD in Pediatrics from the University of Western Australia. She is also a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, with specialist qualification in Pediatric Endocrinology.

Image of Shacey Petrovic

Ms. Petrovic has served as Insulet’s President and Chief Operating Officer since October 2016. Previously, she served as President, Diabetes Products since February 2016 and as Chief Commercial Officer from February 2015 to February 2016. Ms. Petrovic also serves as a senior advisor for Pritzker Group Private Capital. Prior to joining Insulet, Ms. Petrovic served two years as President and Chief Executive Officer of Clinical Innovations, a developer and manufacturer of medical devices and diagnostics for women’s health. Ms. Petrovic previously served in a number of key roles during 13 years at Hologic, Inc. and Cytyc Corporation (which merged with Hologic in October 2007), notably Vice President and General Manager of the company’s GYN Surgical Products Division, as well as various sales and marketing leadership roles in the U.S. and Europe. Ms. Petrovic earned her B.S. in Biology from the University of Wisconsin.

Michael Spears has served as Insulet’s Senior Vice President, Quality, Regulatory and Clinical Affairs since July 2015. Prior to joining Insulet, Mr. Spears was Vice President, Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs at Covidien (which was acquired by Medtronic in 2015) from 2011 to 2015 and Vice President, Quality Assurance from 2006 to 2011. Prior to Covidien, he had several years of progressively broader assignments at Tyco Healthcare from 1999 to 2006. Mr. Spears also served as a Paralegal at two law firms over an 11-year period. He earned his B.A. from the University of Tennessee and an M.B.A. from the University of South Carolina.

Image of Brad Thomas

Mr. Thomas has served as Insulet’s Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Development since November 2014. Prior to joining Insulet, from 2008 to November 2014, Mr. Thomas served as CEO of The HR Impact Group, supporting client company efforts to implement strategic business transformations and improve returns from their human resource organizations. Mr. Thomas previously served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Cytyc Corporation. Mr. Thomas has a broad background of global HR leadership experience at Citigroup, Pepsi, and GE and served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Thomas is a graduate of the GE Human Resource Leadership Program, holds a BS in Business Administration from Villanova University and an MBA from Virginia Polytechnic Institute. Mr. Thomas has type 1 diabetes and took interest in Insulet after a very positive experience using the Omnipod System to help manage his diabetes over the last several years.
