Mr. Scannell has served on our board of directors since 2014 and as our board chair from January 2019 to December 2025. He also serves on the boards of Novocure Limited and Masimo Corporation, as well as the boards of several privately held companies, including CereVasc Inc. and Regenity Biosciences. He served as an executive at Stryker Corporation for over 30 years culminating in his role as President and Chief Operating Officer from 2018 to 2021. Prior to this role he served as Group President of MedSurg and Neurotechnology for ten years. Earlier in his career at Stryker, he served as President of Stryker Spine, VP/GM of Stryker Biotech, and in a variety of sales and marketing leadership roles with Stryker Endoscopy. Mr. Scannell holds Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Notre Dame. He brings extensive strategic, organizational, and operational skills and experience.
